We recognize the rule accelerating the longer-term trend in the industry that favors compensation for advice and expertise rather than compensation for product sales. However, we do not believe advisory fees are always the answer to serving a client’s best interest. For this reason, we also support a BIC contract so you can offer solutions that are both appropriate for your clients and fit within your service model.
