Cantella was founded in 1952 as a specialist on the floor of the Boston Stock Exchange, making markets over the years in hundreds of New England-based companies. In 1969, the company purchased a seat on the New York Stock Exchange and, at one time, Cantella was one of the largest execution providers for institutional investors and asset owners in Pacific Rim countries.
Always forward looking, the firm evolved to remain relevant as the landscape changed, eventually becoming a clearing firm for smaller broker/dealers. That was the beginning of the contemporary Cantella.
Today, Cantella has added clearing relationships with National Financial, Pershing, and Raymond James to provide solutions for financial advisors, broker/dealers and RIAs. Staying true to our roots of loyalty and innovation, we continue to help our clients realize their unique visions.
